She received her professional education in the Janis Rozentals Riga Art  High school (1959 – 1966) and in the Pedagogical Department of the Latvian Art Academy (1066 -1971). She is a member of the Latvian Artists’ Union ( 1978 ) and has been contributing to exhibitions since 1971. She has participated in group exhibitions in Riga, Moscow, Jelgava and in France, Germany and elsewhere. Her artworks can be found in the collections of the Latvian National Art Museum and the Latvian Artists’ Union, as well as in private collections in Latvia and abroad. She works as a teacher in the Janis Rozentals Riga Art High school.
