Daiga Krūze

She received her professional education in the Janis Rozentals Riga Art High School (1992 – 1998) and in the Restoration Department of the Latvian Art Academy (1998 – 2002). She is currently studying for a Master’s degree in the Master Studio of Prof. Aleksejs Naumovs and in the Painting Department of the Latvian Art Academy with Prof. Kaspars Zariņš.  She has been contributing to exhibitions since 2001 and has been staging her solo shows. Her artworks can be found in the collection of the National Museum of Latvia as well as in private collections of Latvia and abroad. In 2008, 2012 and 2016 she was nominated for the V. Purvitis’ Award.
