Daina Riņķe

1941 - 2023

She has received her professional education at the Janis Rozentāls Riga Art School, and since 1959 continues her studies in the Department of Painting of the Art Academy of Latvia, which she graduated in 1965 with Prof. Eduards Kalniņš. She has worked as a lecturer in the painting studio of the VEF Culture Palace and in the preparatory courses of the Art Academy of Latvia. The exhibitions have been started since 1966. Since 1968 member of the Artists' Union of Latvia. The works are located in the collection of the Latvian National Museum of Art, the collection of the Artists' Union of Latvia, the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, private collections in Latvia and worldwide.
