She received her professional education in the Riga Applied Art School (1968 – 1972) and Ceramics Department of the Latvian Art Academy (1972 – 1977). She has been contributing to exhibitions  and staging  solo exhibitions since 1977. She works with all ceramic materials: clay, porcelain, stoneware. The surface of her works excells with plastical objects, painting and drawing. Her artworks can be found in the Latvian Decorative Art and Design Museum, Tredwell Art museum in the USA, Fule Int’I Ceramic Art museum in Fuping, China and in private collections in Latvia and abroad.
