She received her professional education at the Latvian Art Academy (1991). Since 1981 she has been contributing to exhibitions, has had over 10 solo exhibitions. She is a member of the Latvian Artists’ Union since 1989. Her artworks can be found in private collections in Latvia, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Finland.
