In this exhibition the artist Lija Rage presented 2D and 3D works executed in mixed medium. They are made from various industrial objects: glass mats, napkins, paper tablecloths and calendars, and printed with the best samples of Chinese art. These are the artist’s technical means of expression, by which the contrast between the mass-produced industrial objects and the delicate human handwork is achieved. By exploiting disposable tableware and using decoupage and digital print, sewing and painting the artist has transformed this worthless rubbish into durable, environment-friendly artworks.
