The sixth sense is synonymous to the innate wisdom or inner voice, in the East also to “the third eye”. The sixth sense is intuition. People are taught to ignore natural intuitive abilities, a part of their soul that is elusive. We are taught to subject everything to reason. Logic is a way how our mind explores reality, but intuition is a way how our nature feels about the real world.

The key to Kaspars Zarins’ painting is a man’s conformity with himself, complete harmony with his essence or at least a striving for it. This conformity presents  sudden answers which the reason cannot offer. The search for conformity is nothing new, it is eternal. The exhibition is to be seen and enjoyed. It is a kind of  Kaspars Zarins’ point of reference for the last two years of painting. First of all to himself.
